We're moving...

…and we wouldn’t want you to miss us! While we couldn't bring ourselves to leave our Northern Quarter home, we’re heading to a new office, closer to even more burger joints and badly lit bars.

Pop round for a brew at our brand new building from Monday 21st November 2016 - 33 Turner Street, Manchester, M4 1DW – we’ll put the kettle on!

You can still catch us on our regular email addresses and phone number.

Coral and Tom are Knitted Out in Style for Beechfield Headwear

With ice appearing on our window panes and a colder bite in the morning air, shopping for woolly hats and scarves is quickly moving up our list of priorities. Beechfield's heavyweight, colourful yarn is keeping BOSS models Coral and Tom cosy in these photos.

BOSS October Favourites

October is a month we all look forward to at BOSS HQ. Not only are we one step closer to the party season, but we can enjoy the fun of Halloween and autumn.

We've chosen some of the things we are loving this October.

Jennie, Model Booker
A couple of my favourite things about October are the autumn leaf drop with all the vibrant colours and the fact that you can buy all different types of squashes in Aldi!

Robyn, Casting Booker
My favourite thing in October is finally being able to return to Pie and Ale in the Northern Quarter - 47 Lever St - for the first pie of Autumn! They do proper short-crust pies with mash, gravy and all the trimmings. Plus, they put little pastry animals on the top of your pie to identify the filling. Definitely the way to my Northern heart!

Helen, Model Booker
I'm enjoying wearing my big warm Zara scarf.

Cath, Head of Casting
In October, I like collecting sloes to make sloe gin and then coming home, lighting the fire and closing the curtains on a Saturday night to watch Strictly.

Lauren, Senior Booker
There are so many beautiful things that I love about autumn, dressing up in layers being one of them, but my absolute favourite part is the invasion of candle season. I love the scent of the sweet smelling 'Spiced Pumpkin' candles burning in abundance throughout my apartment.

Olivia, Junior Division Booker
For me, it has to be the long awaited wardrobe transition! September is always very mild and then the cold starts setting in when October arrives. I dream of chunky knits, layering and a good boot! And of course, who doesn't get excited to make Halloween plans? Time to vamp it up guys.

Hayley, Model Booker
I love my new, super soft and cosy faux fur coat this October.

Andy, Director of Operations
October has a special significance for me. I'm a volunteer at the East Lancashire Railway in Bury, where I'm a steam locomotive driver. This weekend the Flying Scotsman is running!

Rhiannon, Casting Booker
I'm not really a winter person but the good thing about October is that I get to go and buy lots of warm new clothes to make myself feel better. I'm also a member of Manchester Show Choir so we start prepping for our Christmas shows around about now!

Bart, Junior Model Booker
HALLOWEEN!

Jennifer, Accountant
I absolutely love love love October: it's my favourite time of year for homemade soups, Starbucks pumpkin spiced lattes and being wrapped up in layers outdoors while it's super fresh which gives your face that glow.

Alex, Social Media Coordinator
I am all about audiobooks at the moment as my flatmates are on holiday and I've been catching the tram alone. The Girl On The Train by Paula Hawkins was brilliant and at the moment I'm listening to We Were Liars by E Lockhart - it's about a girl trying to piece together what happened one summer after she gets a brain injury.

Shop Direct AW16 Show - Behind the Scenes

Last Friday we took a trip up to Liverpool's Echo Arena for the Shop Direct AW16 show. Bringing together online department stores like Very.co.uk and Littlewoods.com, the event was a showcase of talent with 20 adults, 14 juniors and 8 creatives booked from BOSS.

We were wowed on arrival by a 20m raised gloss catwalk, huge display screens and banked seating around the stage. Even more impressive were the clothes on offer, with the V by Very range in particular catching our eye.

Choreographed by Ian Mills, the show was faultless. With such a huge production it is no surprise that the brilliant Clare Povey, Communications and Event Lead for Shop Direct was given an award for her commitment to the company.

'There's a storm coming' with Jessica Conner

Layered furs, socks with slingback heels and stacked up, delicate knitwear: Jessica Conner is the ultimate Autumn inspiration in the latest issue of SpaghettiMag.

Friday Feeling - BOSS playlist

As a busy week comes to an end, the staff at BOSS HQ have picked their favourite feel good weekend tunes for a Friday playlist on our brand new Spotify channel.

Here's what we picked and why:

Richard - Casting Booker
Temper Trap – Sweet Disposition
Tune of the century! I think I may have sat with Jennie in the early hours of the morning at Lauren's once playing endless tunes on her iMac and this is one I remember!

Tristan – Model Booker Junior Division
Boston – More than a feeling
A classic tune that simply can’t fail to get you in a good mood.

Robyn – Casting Booker
Beyonce – Freakum Dress
This is my jam! It makes me want to immediately get up and dance with my gurls! Anything Beyonce based would make me happy.

Debra – Managing Director
The Kinks - Days
I’ve been reminiscing so this week so my vote goes to Days by The Kinks, because it reminds me of my Mum and Dad, and I hope my little lad Marcus will think the same way.  Tune in!

Olivia – Junior Division Booker
Luther Vandross – Never Too Much
This is a sing your heart out classic! Love love love, you can’t beat a bit of 80’s soul. If anyone wants a rendition, you know where I am!

Bart – Junior Model Booker
Broncho – It’s On
I just like the riff!

Jennie – Model Booker
Angie Stone – Wish I Didn’t Miss You
This was one of the last songs to be played at Space’s Closing Party in Ibiza last weekend. I had forgotten about it until I heard it recently. A classic.

Jennifer – Accountant
Prayer in C (Robin Schulz Remix)
Here’s a throwback to 2014 which was definitely my song of the summer (well, one of them) – and considering the weather right now I could do with a bit of sunshine!

Here’s an extra one for Harriett too which I think she’ll like:
George Ezra - Budapest
Harriett asked me to listen to Budapest as she thought I’d like it, but then proceeded to text me the same message every time she heard the song for about 6 weeks!  Each time genuinely forgetting she’d already previously asked me to.  It still makes me laugh out loud!

Hayley – Model Booker
Jamiroquai – Little L
Friday with wine yes please!
Crazy P – Stop Space Return.
Get’s me in the mood for going out.

Cath – Head of casting
Joe Cocker – With a Little Help from My Friends
I saw him a few years ago at the Apollo, he was still giving it all…and we all need our friends!

Gareth – Head booker
The Kooks – Ooh La
This songreminds me of being on the bullet train from Tokyo to Osaka, 200mph!

Alex – Social media coordinator
Jamie T – Zombie
Because I can’t wait to go and get a Zombie cocktail in the Northern Quarter tonight.

From indie classics to Ibiza throwbacks, check the playlist on our Spotify now and follow 'BossModelManagement' for future bangers!
