Autumn days when the is grass jewelled

Harvey Nichols in Manchester never fail to impress us with the grandeur of their shows. Like last year, the A/W show was hosted in the spectacular Manchester Cathedral. Captivated in the autumnal equinox, the atmosphere in the Cathedral was electric; Summer is definitely over and the dark nights are upon us. Fear not though Summer bunnies. It's time to wrap up warm, get excited about this season's new winter coat and boots and get ready to rock on down in sparkly frocks for the fast approaching party season. Bring the cocktails on!

Meet the team

Time to shine a light on and find out more about the fabulous, and newest member of our team, Jo Ormiston. Jo joined the team a month ago and is in charge of imaging and our busy reception desk. We thought a few cheeky quick fire - get to know you - questions were in order:

What is the first thing you do in the morning? Press SNOOZE.

What three things can you not live without? I couldn’t live without my lungs, as I recently found out. My heart also plays a big part, and as for my brain, I often manage without it.

Whom do you admire the most? My mother.

How would you spend a perfect day? In the sunshine, with friends and an ice cold beer, possibly by the sea... or in NYC.

Which actress would you like to play you in the movie of your life? Audrey Hepburn or Winona Ryder.

What bores you most? Paperwork.

What is your favourite possession? My 22 year old teddy bear, MR. Pinky.

Your book of bedside? I like to be read to as I fall asleep, most recently, The Philosophy of Andy Warhol.

Marie Curie 'Cake Off'

We'd like to wish a blooming great big thank you to all of you who kindly donated at our Blooming Great Tea party earlier on this year. We raised over £500 and over 6,600 people around the UK held their very own Blooming Great Tea Party this summer and so far Marie Curie has raised £560,002 - which is fantastic. This money will help fund over 28,000 hours of free Marie Curie nursing care.

We will be tickled pink for our next agency charity event, helping to raise money for Breast Cancer on Friday 29th October for 'wear it pink day'. www.wearitpink.co.uk Pink blamange anyone?!
