Harper's Bazaar

Fresh from Men's Fashion Week in Paris and Milan, poet and model Max Wallis shares his latest work exclusively with Bazaar.

A visual love poem which will form part of his next collection of poetry about fashion, Time Zones Apart is a dreamy meditation on the itinerant life of a homesick catwalker.
Max's first book, Modern Love, was published in 2011; his collection of children's poetry is currently in development.

***NEW SHOT ALERT***

WhOa this shot of Naomi has just blown us all away and it's Thursday, which means it's nearly the weekend- Smiles around the booking desk.

The night walker

Taken amidst the back streets of a hot and oh so humid Singapore, Jacob Crosby continues to exude his cool in this stop motion video by photographer Callaghan Walsh. Currently modelling away in Singapore we thought it was only appropriate that the Boss Questioning Mushroom Master asked Jacob a few questions:

Best thing about modelling in Singapore? The chance to work with some interesting characters in a different market and the opportunities that arise from being in a different culture. Plus, the beach is a bit of a bonus.
What did you want to be when you were younger? The only thing I remember wanting to be when I was a kid is one of those blokes who dig up the road.  I wanted to be in a road maintenance crew.  Always aiming high!
What are you missing most from home? My family and cheese and pickle butties.
Current ear listening candy? Bad Girls by Blood Orange
What are your thoughts on the extraterrestrial? There's no way we can be the only form of life in the universe.  It's too big, it hurts my brain to think about it.
A mantra that you live by? "If they like you they like you" Joe Collier said that to me at a casting once, "Mate, if they like ya they like ya, if they don't they don't.  No point in worrying about it".  Probably the smartest thing he's ever said!!
What would you make on Come Dine With Me and which three dinner dates would you invite, dead or alive? I would make a massive steak and ale pie with cheesy mash and gravy. Carrot cake for afters. On the invite list would be Phillip Pullman, Bill Murray and Stevie Wonder. Just the lads.
Peas or carrots? Peas, mushy carrots just aren't the same.
Best thing about working for Boss Model Management? It's changed my life completely two years ago I was working in hotels and bars, now I get to travel the world doing a job that I really enjoy where every day is different.  If it weren't for Debs chucking a card at me out the window of her car then I'd probably still be waiting tables and pulling pints. (from rags to riches )

Being able to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines is crucial, along with the ability to liaise successfully with a wide variety of clients. Candidates must be IT literate and capable of embracing new technology.
